Athletes of Excellence
A night of Celebration to Honor Outstanding Athletes in Tuolumne County

Come join us for this rare experience to interact with some of the top high-school athletes in our community. Students from Sonora & Summerville High-Schools will be recognized for their exceptional achievements in sports and will participate in fun live-interviews with our guests.
We would also like to recognize the awesome support of Sonora Area Foundation and donors who have generously contributed to the funding of Foundation Sports Park.
In addition, we're thrilled to announce that we are now focused on phase two construction of Foundation Sports Park, including the Irving J. Symons Sports Pavilion and multi-use field.

Who We Are
Founded in 1998, YSF was established as a 501c3 non-profit to expand play opportunities for Tuolumne County youth through the renovation and creation of play spaces, facilities and sport fields.
Notably, YSF has led projects to renovate Cassina High School’s baseball/softball fields, remediate elementary school playgrounds and fields, provide equipment to leagues, and promote local youth sports program establishment.
In January 2021, YSF’s Board underwent a generational torch pass, with an entire new leadership team with a renewed yet consistent focus on benefiting local youth through sport.
